My business, Tracy Routh Photography, has been up and running for over 10 years and is located near Kansas City, MO. I also photograph destination weddings and engagements. My website is www.tracyrouthphotography.com. I started out shooting seniors and models but after some of my seniors started asking me to photograph their weddings years later, I discovered that I really enjoyed being a part of such a wonderful celebration. Now I specialize in wedding and senior photography.
Why photography?
Honestly, I have wanted to be a photographer since 7th grade. I always wanted to get to school early to work in the darkroom and stay late as well. I was always taking photos for the school yearbook. But, I remember when I started shooting after high school, being really inspired by the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, lol! I wanted to be the next Walter Iooss, Jr.
Why do you use AsukaBook?
I chose AsukaBook after looking at many book samples at WPPI, years ago when starting my business, because it was my favorite. I include a NeoClassic album with laminate matte pages. The laminate matte pages are so dreamy. My clients fall in love with them!
Any selling tips for other photographers?
Love what you want to sell and show it. If I show a biggest and best album that is what they will want!
What else should people know about you?
I am about as down to earth as they come and am mostly an open book. I have a beautiful, spunky daughter who makes me laugh daily and always asks me if she is my funniest kid, lol. And, I have a son who is heading off to college this summer, who also competes with being the funniest in our house!
