Tell us about your company or studio.
JohnLo Photography has been operating as a full time wedding studio since 2008. We are located north of Boston, in Haverhill, MA. We average about 60 weddings per year and believe in offering superb quality wedding photography for the best value on the market.

Why photography?
I've always found myself to be a creative person. My father was a Disc Jockey growing up so I got to experience the "event business" early on by helping him. When I finally picked up a camera it came to me very quickly. I am not a super technical shooter by any means but I do know my stuff. I love capturing people. I love showing people the end result and I love seeing their faces light up. Nothing makes me smile more than capturing the smile of someone else. I don't make clients… I make friends.

Why do you use AsukaBook?
Why do you use AsukaBook? Which AsukaBook is your favorite? Why AsukaBook? Why NOT AsukaBook? First album company I've ever used and I like to say that I got it right the first time! I've seen all of them and the AsukaBook quality cannot be compared. By quality I mean, physical quality of the book along with the quality of people working behind the scenes. The customer service is amazing! Always there when needed :)

As far as my FAVORITE product goes…I have to go with the NeoClassic. The print quality is beyond superb! When you hold a NeoClassic Album you know you are holding something luxurious. My clients (friends!) absolutely love them!


Any selling tips for other photographers?
Be yourself. Don't force it. Let people love your natural self. Don't follow trends. Be a trend! Treat your customers as you would want to be treated. Always answer emails and phone calls as quickly as possible. Be there for them. They are investing hard earned money in you. Customer service is a HUGE part of the wedding business that I feel many… not all… overlook. Make their images absolutely perfect. They deserve it. Be a friend not just a vendor.
